<p>My husband used to work in that building on the 34th floor in it&#8217;s previous incarnation pre-9/11, so it will be fascinating to see what the new version looks like.  I&#8217;m also looking forward to playing with legendary pianist Blair McMillen again &#8211; especially that we are playing John Adams&#8217; <em>Road Movies, </em>which is a piece that particularly suits to Blair&#8217;s and my styles I think.  There aren&#8217;t too many classical musicians out there with rhythm as rock solid as his.  I will also play Bach&#8217;s Chaccone (using a Baroque bow), Blair will play works by Karen Tanaka and Chopin, then Jasna and Dina will play a Schubert piano work for four hands.  I believe drinks and snacks will be on offer afterwards.</p>

<p>Partnering with New York Artist Management, Bechstein America presents <strong>Asmira Woodward-Page, Dina Pruzhansky, Jasna Popovic and Blair McMillen</strong> at 7WTC as part of the ongoing <strong>Bechstein Artist Series.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The program</strong> includes John Adams&#8217; <em>Road Movies </em>for violin and piano, J.S. Bach&#8217;s <em>Chaccone</em> in D minor for solo violin.  For solo piano: Karen Tanaka&#8217;s <em>Techno Etude #1</em> (2000), Chopin&#8217;s <em>Nocturne </em>in Db Major, Op.27 #2, then a work for piano by Schubert for four hands.</p>
<p><strong>The location: </strong>As you exit the elevator on the 48th floor of 7 World Trade Center a refreshing surprise awaits &#8211; this is the art studio of groundbreaking documentarian and artist Marcus Robinson. His current collection, REBUILDING, is an on- going installation of paintings, drawings and time-lapse film about the rebuilding of the World Trade Center. All original works are for sale.</p>
